I'm not sure if I should tell you to cook more or less.
Could we please get some details? Did you mean to put the plate in there or did it get put in there and then at a later date the oven got turned on? And did you get the plastic scraped off the bottom of the oven? So funny.
When the power was out we grilled chicken out side and for some reason Dustin thought he would save the last piece on a plate in the oven. Well, when the power came on a couple days later we were going to have a stuffed chicken for dinner because it thawed out. I turned the oven on and didn't even think to look inside....and you see what happened. It scraped right off the bottom, but the racks were encased in plastic so that was pretty hard to clean off.
